Henrik Thiess has a background in medical informatics and is one of the interoperability specialists at EY’s EMEIA-based Digital Health Excellence Center​(DHEC). He has several years of experience in agile software development and interoperability in healthcare with openEHR and FHIR​. Henrik has had a pivotal role in the architectural design and technical project management of one of the largest clinical data repositories within the framework of the German Medical Informatics Initiative (MII). His expertise extends to the prototype development for the federated use of clinical data repositories, integrating openEHR and FHIR standards.
